Since 1894, Majestic has been dedicated to keeping families warm. Originally a manufacturer of cast iron furnaces and coal chutes, Majestic created its first factory built fireplace in the 1930's and never looked back. Since then, Majestic has been producing wood and gas fireplaces known for outstanding durability, superior quality and stunning good looks.

1894

Majestic Company formed in Morence, Michigan by James M. Triggs

1907

Majestic Company moves to Huntington, Indiana making primarily coal and oil fired furnaces and boilers

Late '30s

Begins selling their first steel masonry circulating fireplace

1942

A division of the company set up to product aluminum aircraft castings for the war effort

1954

Majestic produces the first zero clearance, pre-fabricated fireplace

1969

Majestic merges with American Standard

1977

Patent granted for circulating warm air around fireplace into room/ductwork to heat the home

1995

Majestic becomes CFM Majestic

1999

Creates fireplace for both heating and cooling - the DVHVAC36

2008

Majestic becomes part of Monessen Hearth Systems Co.

2009

Majestic converts Martin Fireplace customers to Majestic product line

2014

Majestic becomes part of Hearth & Home Technologies

2016

Designed the entire Majestic product line with IntelliFireā„¢ Ignition Systems

2017

Creates fireplace to allow a TV 12" above the fireplace with no mantel
