On December 17th, 2010, President Obama signed the Tax Relief, Unemployment Insurance Reauthorization, and Job Creation Act of 2010, which includes a 10% tax credit (up to a maximum of $300) for homeowners who purchase a 75% efficient biomass-burning stove or insert in 2011.
